HYPNOBIRTHING
The GOODBIRTH Hypnobirthing Antenatal course offers a realistic and practical antenatal education for all births. You will learn about how to navigate different situations and ways to make choices that feel right for you. The course is rooted in understanding more about the biological processes that happen in labour, as well as ways to relax in pregnancy and during your birth, using breathing and other techniques. These methods can be used in any birth situation, at home, at hospital, or in theatre.
Every birth is different, and there is no one way to prepare. My course weaves in birthing wisdom (and honesty) from my experience at attending many births, as well as birth biomechanics training. I will not be telling you that every birth can be calm, or quiet, because primal power is often loud and usually unpredictable! I will present lots of tools and techniques for you to use during labour, and discuss when they may be useful for you. Each course is unique to you, designed for your circumstances and focused on the subjects most important to you.

-what to do if birth plans or expectations change
-how to recognise early labour

I am a registered KGH Hypnobirthing teacher
DipHB (KGH). The KGH teacher training Diploma is accredited by the RCM (Royal College of Midwives). The course not only teaches Hypnobirthing, but also offers evidence based antenatal education and practical information, for you to make informed choices.
Your personalised, private GOODBIRTH Hypnobirthing Antenatal Course can be taught in your own home, or in 'THE SNUG' at GOODBIRTH in Torbay.
The private course offers 9 hours of teaching, over 3 or 4 sessions, to suit your needs and availability. Please contact me to discuss your specific requirement, or for an information form.
There is also the option to choose my Doula package which includes Hypnobirthing (Lavender package) and the course is woven through the antenatal sessions.
The course Hypnobirthing book, course notes from me, and access for queries via WhatsApp/email/text are included.
A birth partner or friend is encouraged to attend with you free of charge.
Course fee varies depending on location/options, from *£270 (see below for concessions)

In person sessions- I cover Torquay, Brixham, Paignton, Totnes, South Hams, Dartmouth, Newton Abbott and other South Devon areas.
ONLINE HYPNOBIRTHING
If you have studied any other online course, or book, but feel you would like a one to one practical session with an experienced teacher to discuss your personal birth options, practice techniques, or have a relaxation session, a one off session can be booked.
